Ray’s passion and commitment to serving others, and creating a supportive environment for residents and team members alike, make him the ideal Executive Director. He holds a B.A. in Organizational Communications, and has more than 13 years of experience in senior living. Ray leverages these skills to make a positive impact in every personal and professional interaction.
Ray and his loving wife of 25 years have two sons currently enrolled in college, enjoy hiking, and biking in and around Fairfax and Washington, D.C., often exploring the Old Dominion Trail, Curtis Trail, and others.
Lena is a graduate of The Pennsylvania State University with a degree in Health Policy and Administration. With nearly 10 years of experience in sales, marketing, and healthcare management, she deeply understands the unique needs of seniors and is dedicated to providing compassionate support during the tour process. Lena is passionate about fostering a warm, supportive environment at The Providence, where she values the collaborative efforts of her team in ensuring residents feel truly cared for and at home.
Outside of work, Lena enjoys practicing Pilates, spending quality time with her husband, friends, and family, and playing with her two rescue dogs from Qatar and a rescue cat from Pittsburgh.
In the early days of Victoria's career, she served 25 years working for the U.S. Consulate General in Vladivostok, Russia, and the U.S. Foreign Service Institute in Arlington, Virginia. In 2016, Victoria elected to open a new career chapter in senior living, holding positions in community concierge services, HR, and business office management. She cherishes her U.S. citizenship and her new country’s history, along with her new colleagues, and the everyday beauty and seasonal climate of the Virginia Commonwealth.
Victoria loves crafting with beads, and has launched a well-attended bead crafting group at The Providence.
Upon completing her studies in Farm Management and Animal Production at the Universidad ISA in the Dominican Republic, Odanny received additional training for planning and providing quality group and individual programming for Assisted Living residents. She now has seven years of experience in the senior living industry.
In addition to her work, Odanny enjoys merengue and salsa dancing, golden oldies from the 50’s, 60’s and 80’s, and having fun in the pool with her daughter.
Originally from Brazil, Sabrine earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Data Processing Technology, before embarking on a 20-year career in the restaurant and hospitality sector. She’s received Learn2Serve Food Protection Manager certification, which covers food safety issues, regulations, and techniques to maintain a food-safe environment, as well as TIPS certification, for skills-based, responsible alcohol training.
Sabrine is now thrilled to apply her skills to enhance the dining experience of residents at The Providence. “I may be biased,” she says, “but I truly think our menus and food are what set us apart from other communities."
Kurt has spent his career pursuing the highest levels of customer care, which he finds satisfying, rewarding, and professionally gratifying. He earned his BS degree in Environmental Science with a concentration in Economics and Energy. The Hyatt Hotels Management Development Program brought him to Northern Virginia.
For the past 15 years, he has worked in Customer and Facility Care in senior living. Kurt loves the outdoors, the beach, and is an avid tennis player.
